Welcome!
I am Eunho, a Ph.D. candidate at Columbia School of Social Work, focusing on Social Policy & Policy Analysis.
I study the impacts of social policies on child development and family well-being. I am interested in understanding the role of early childhood policies in improving families' economic security and children's early learning. My dissertation examines the effects of publicly funded pre-kindergarten programs on child, family, and societal well-being. My research also explores how parental employment and income (in)security affect parental well-being and child development.
I was born and raised in South Korea and earned my B.A. in Economics & Social Welfare and my M.A. in Social Welfare from Seoul National University. In my free time, I enjoy learning ballet and walking while listening to podcasts.
